    Pfam family PFAM:PF02410 {Domain of unknown function DUF143 } with 2591 members in NR database and additional 2027 members in the metagenomic datasets is represented in Archaea, Bacteria, and Eukaryota. The first structural representative solved (PDB Id: TOPSAN:2id1) was subject to FATCAT structural similarity search that indicated similarity to SCOP (v. 1.73) domain SCOP:d1vj7a2 classified as Nucleotidyltransferase fold. (Note: additional/lacking secondary structure elements). However, no sequence similarity to this fold has been detected. Based on structural similarity and existing literature one can hypothesize that this family is binds nucleic acids, possibly RNA polymerase, role in development
