    Summary

Pfam family PFAM:PF07080 {Protein of unknown function (DUF1348) } with 157 members in NR database and additional 43 members in the metagenomic datasets is represented in Bacteria, and Eukaryota. The first structural representative solved (PDB Id: TOPSAN:2imj) was subject to FATCAT structural similarity search that indicated similarity to SCOP (v. 1.73) domain SCOP:d1ohpa1 classified as Cystatin-like fold. Profile-profile methods confirm remote homology between this family and superfamily of NTF2-like; Cystatin-like fold.
