    Summary

    Pfam family PFAM:PF08796 {Protein of unknown function (DUF1797)} with 70 members in NR database. The first structural representative solved (PDB Id: TOPSAN:2ffg) was subject to FATCAT structural similarity search that indicated similarity to SCOP (v. 1.73) domain SCOP:d1svdm1 classified as Ykuj-like fold. (Note: new fold solved by PSI). However, this partial similarity is not sufficient for fold assignment. Thus it is a novel fold.
