    Pfam family PFAM:PF09400 {Protein of unknown function (DUF2002)} with 43 members in NR database and additional 2 members in the metagenomic datasets is represented in Bacteria. The first structural representative solved (PDB Id: TOPSAN:2g7j) was subject to FATCAT structural similarity search that indicated similarity to SCOP (v. 1.73) domain SCOP:d1kafa_ classified as Mota C-terminal domain-like fold. However, no sequence similarity to this fold has been detected. Based on fold one can hypothesize that this family is probably binds DNA, possibly a transcription factor
